The OFFICINA MECCANICA ORNAGO SRL was set up in 1965. At first, the production was designed and made within a 250 mq laboratory right in the centre of Carugate, by Milan, Italy.
Back then, it was a turning work shop and the production included shafts, flanges, rings and plates designed to whichever field of application. The devices were all working on a manual functioning basis.
In 1985 the production was moved to a bigger laboratory of 500 mq. In that year, we refurbished our selection of operating devices.
Those new devices allowed to deliver products manifactured in different way (design, preparation of materials, welding, turning and milling).   
                     

In 1995 the production was yet again moved into an even bigger workplant of 2000 mq. At present, we are located in Via Riva Bambina 4, Carugate by Milano. Our company employs 15 full time co-workers and has the know-how required in our field.
The officina meccanica ORNAGO S.R.L. (certified ISO 900) has all the experience and professionalità required to produce components from a drawing for many different typologies of markets. More specifically, we carry out manifacture on behalf of a third parts of: vertical turning, parallel tourning, milling, boring,threading and 5-axes manifacture, all under numerical control (C.N). All manifactures are supported by CAD-CAM system.
